Generali Central Insurance marks a new sustainable chapter with the inauguration of a Green Office at Airoli, Navi Mumbai

Mumbai, May 5, 2026: Generali Central Insurance, a joint venture between global insurance major Generali and Central Bank of India, today inaugurated a new green office space at Airoli in Navi Mumbai, marking an important milestone in the company’s sustainability journey and reinforcing its long-term commitment to responsible growth.
The move reflects the company’s strategic focus on creating lasting value for customers, employees, communities, and the environment, while advancing its ambition to be a Lifetime Partner to customers.
Designed with sustainability at its core, the new office with Environmental Management System infrastructure incorporates energy-efficient systems, optimised resource consumption, improved indoor environmental quality, and smart workplace solutions that will help reduce operational cost, ensure stronger Environmental Social Governance and sustainability performance besides enabling improved employer branding resulting in talent attraction. The transition also supports Generali Central Insurance’s broader environmental goals by promoting greener ways of working and more efficient use of resources.
